Manager and promoter of jazz and world musicDIASPORA COLLECTIVE manages and promotes the 11-piece Latin band DIÁSPORA + affiliated jazz and world music projects.
DIASPORA COLLECTIVE was established in March 2009, originally as a group of musicians exploring traditional Afro-Cuban and African repertoire, which soon expanded to Brazilian and other Latin American styles of music, and integrating them with jazz, funk, pop and contemporary world music styles. DIÁSPORA is a project that combines all of these influences, and it is a large outfit that has appeared regularly at festivals, showcases and private / corporate events, earning fantastic critical acclaim from some of the UK's top venues and clients. Related projects involve members of DIÁSPORA appearing in different formats and setups. DIASPORA COLLECTIVE is set to expand their range of projects, performances and events, and it will offer artists and promoters a unique service for showcasing jazz and world music.
